Injuries and Camping in Seattle

So while we were camping in Washington, Taylor and his brother in law went on an 80 mile bike ride up Mt. St. Helens. The ride was crazy hilly, but Taylor was really excited for this ride. The boys were really happy when they made it to the top and mostly looking forward to a much easier ride downhill.... Apparently though Taylor was unaware that speed limits are not just for cars. Turns out when you take a sharp corner at 35 mph, it doesn't turn out so well. Luckily Taylor's helmet broke his fall. Taylor survived with a cut on his nose from his glasses and his ear was sliced open by the plastic part on his helmet....The helmet however was not so lucky. Hard to tell from this picture, but the helmet is just cracked all over. After travelling 20 mi to the nearest hospital, we decided we could patch Taylor up ourselves. This is how it turned out.... The rest of the camping trip was a lot of fun. We stayed in a cabin and since there were 10 babies under the age of 4, Taylor and I decided to set up camp in a tent outside.
